Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 granny smith apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • caramel sauce

Bon Cook Products Used

Flexiflat, Medium Perforated Sheet, Stainless Mixing Bowl, Cake Server Knife and Silicone Pastry Brush.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and place oven rack in center position. Place Flexiflat on Medium Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.
  2. In Stainless Mixing Bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, vanilla, and brown sugar. Set aside.
  3. Place puff pastry inside Flexiflat and score edges with Cake Server Knife. Arrange apple slices on pastry inside the scored edges.
  4. Whisk egg with 1 tablespoon water and brush edges of pastry with Silicone Pastry Brush.
  5. Bake the tart for 18-20 minutes or until apples are soft and edges are brown. Remove tart from oven and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Love this Apple Tart!

This Tart reminds me of a French Apple Tart I learned to make in Culinary School.  Using the puff pastry and the bon COOK products make prep and clean up a breeze and the results are perfect every time!
