  1. In an electric mixer bowl, cream together the Butter and Sugar, then add the Egg, Milk and Vanilla Extract
  2. In Mixing Bowl, Whisk together the Flour, Salt and Baking Powder.
  3. With the electric mixer running on medium speed, add the dry ingredients to the wet in three portions.
  4. Once you have a soft dough, shape it into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place oven rack in center position.  After 30 minutes, remove dough and taking small pieces, press into each well of the Tray, filling each about 3/4 to the top
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown very slightly and cool completely before decorating
  7. To decorate, use a paint brush or small spoon to paint the colored frosting onto the cookies
Royal Icing:
  1.  Whisk all the ingredients (except for the food coloring) together, making sure it’s completely smooth and there are no lumps. You may need to add more Milk or Corn Syrup, depending on the consistency you are trying to achieve.
  2. Add food coloring to get the desired color and decorate your cookies!

Love how these turned out and can't believe how incredibly easy they were to make.  I made for my Mother-In-Law as a get-well gift and she loved them!
