Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 lbs. pecans
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F and place oven rack in center position. Place Bonmat on Medium Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.
  2. Using mixer, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in pecans and coat well. In separate mixing bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add pecans and mix well.
  4. Spread evenly onto Bonmat and bake for 80 minutes but mix every 20 minutes.
