Caprese skewers are a perfect example of how French cooking can be both elegant and effortless. These bite-sized appetizers capture the essence of summer in a single bite.

To assemble, simply thread cherry tomatoes, small mozzarella balls, and fresh basil leaves onto skewers. Drizzle with high-quality olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt just before serving. For a French twist, consider using bon COOK French Pantry ingredients as a base marinade, creating a unique fusion of Italian and French flavors.

These skewers can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator, making them ideal for last-minute gatherings or unexpected guests.

Tuna Rillettes with a Twist – A French Spread

Tuna rillettes offer a delightful alternative to traditional pâtés, perfect for warm summer evenings. This easy-to-make spread combines the richness of French cuisine with the lightness of Mediterranean flavors.

Mix canned tuna with softened butter, finely chopped shallots, and fresh herbs like chives or parsley. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra zing. Serve the rillettes on toasted baguette slices or cucumber rounds for a refreshing crunch.
