Apple Pie

  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 frozen 9-inch pie crusts, defrosted


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place the Fluted Pie Mold on a Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
  3. Remove the packaging from the pie crust and place one pie crust in Fluted Pie Mold.
  4. Press down around the bottom of the crust to mold into the Fluted Pie Mold.
  5. Peel apples quarter and slice, core removed.
  6. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Arrange apples and layers in the mold. Sprinkle each layer with cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Dot the top layer with small cubes of butter. Using the second crust, top over layered apples.
  9. Using your thumb and forefinger, flute the edges to close both crusts together.
  10. Score the top crust with a Santoku Knife five times.
  11. Bake for 10 minutes and reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
  12. Bake an additional 30-35 minutes and let cool.
