Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (you can also use lamb or bison)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 yellow pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Place meat in Medium Round Mold and cover fully with Bonmat.
  2. Next, place in microwave and cook on high for approximately 4 minutes (you can break up the meat before or after cooking).
  3. Pull sides of the Medium Round Mold together and pour a little grease in a pot on the stove for the next step. Pour off remaining grease and dispose it off.
  4. Add onions, garlic and cumin to the pot and mix well.
  5. Mix in chili powder, paprika, dry mustard, and salt.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until the onions are translucent; about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Add the bell peppers, tomatoes, broth, and meat to the pot and turn the heat to high.
  8. When the chili stats to boil, reduce to low and simmer uncovered for about an hour.
  9. After that, it is ready to serve.
