Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2 cup butter 
  • 1/2 cup butter-flavored Crisco or butter 
  • 1/2 cup sugar 
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 1 egg 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla 
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 
  • 1 12-ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. 
  2. Place a Large Bonmat on Large Perforated Baking Sheet.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  4. Mix egg, butter, Crisco (or butter), sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until well blended.
  5. Add dry ingredients and mix on low speed until incorporated.
  6. Using EcoChop, chop walnuts.
  7. Add walnuts and chocolate chips to the cookie mixture, and stir until combined. 
  8. Drop in generous tablespoons onto Bonmat.
  9. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
