Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 OZ)
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (about the juice of 4 lemons)
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, salt, and flour and beat until combined.
  3. Place Square Mold on Medium Perforated Baking Sheet.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into Square Mold.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes.
  6. While the crust is baking, beat egg yolks, condensed milk, and lemon juice until it thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Take the crust out of the oven and pour the wet mixture evenly over the crust.
  8. Return to oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool or chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  10. Unmold, cut into squares with Cake Server Knife, and garnish with powdered sugar.
