Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch 
  • 1 3/4 cup strawberries, hulled and halved 
  • 3 eggs 
  • 1 cup whole milk 
  • 1/4 cup sugar  
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract  
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • confectionery sugar for dusting 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and place oven rack in the center position.  
  2. Place Tart Mold on Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside. 
  3. Prepare strawberries and sprinkle with cornstarch and lightly toss to coat 
  4. Arrange strawberries in the bottom of the mold and set aside
  5. In Mixing Bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt until well blended 
  6. Pour over strawberries  
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until puffed and golden brown 
  8. Remove from oven and allow to rest to slightly cool 
  9. Unmold onto serving platter 
  10. Dust with confectionery sugar and serve
