Gourmet Popcorn Herbs de Provence

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, ghee, or high smoke point oil of choice
  • 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted Garlic Olive Oil Blend
  • 1 tablespoon Herbs de Provence Olive Oil Blend
  • 2 large garlic cloves, peeled, left whole but crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Herbs de Provence Herb Blend
  • 3/4 teaspoon Garlic Paprika Sea Salt

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons of the oil, the garlic, and herbs de Provence in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until the garlic is aromatic, about 3 minutes. Remove the pan from heat, remove the garlic cloves to discard, and let stand while making the popcorn.
  2. In the Large Round Mold, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Cover with the octagonal Bonmat and cook in the microwave on high for one minute.
  3. Add the popcorn, and toss the kernels with the melted oil using a heat-resistant spatula to make sure they’re nicely coated.
  4. Cover the round mold with the Octagonal Bonmat and cook on high for 3 to 4 minutes. Every microwave works differently. After about two minutes of cooking, the popping is rapid. When the popping starts to slow down, it is time to take it out. Carefully remove the octagonal Bonmat, lifting it from the far corner, knowing that the steam is extremely hot.
  5. Pour the reserved oil over the hot popcorn and sprinkle with the sea salt. Toss until the popcorn is coated. Check for salt and add more as needed.
  6. Serve hot or at room temperature.
