  • 1½ lbs. lean ground sirloin
  • ½ lb. ground pork
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bunch of Italian Parsley chopped fine
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Bordeaux Wild Pepper Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Tapenade
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Roasted Garlic and Chive Herb Blend
  • 1 tablespoon Meat Herb Blend
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic paprika Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 18 Slider buns of choice/ Make it all GF by adjusting the buns to Gluten Free selection

Toppings:

  • 18 small slices of Comté cheese
  • Caramelized onions
  • Olive Tapenade
  • Bordeaux mustard

Roasted Caramelized Onions

  • 4 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Paprika salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Freshly ground Vietnam black pepper (to taste)

  1. Place the Biscuit tray on the perforated baking Sheet and Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer until thoroughly combined.
  3. Divide the mixture among each square well in the tray. (2.68 ounces per square)
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Serve with snacks and mini bites for a game-day treat, or serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a meal.

Bon TIP: This recipe makes a firm, delicious meatloaf slider everyone loves. It cooks quicker than in a traditional loaf pan, controls portions, and freezes well for future dinners. Freeze any leftovers.

Roasted Caramelized Onions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and place a BONMAT on a Perforated Baking Sheet.
  2. Prepare the onions, peel and thinly slice the onions.
  3. Toss the onions In a large mixing bowl with Garlic Olive Oil, Garlic Paprika Salt, sugar (if using), and freshly ground Vietnam black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the onions in a single layer on the BONMAT.
  5. Place in oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  6. The onions are done when they are golden brown and caramelized. If they need more time, continue baking in 5-minute increments, stirring as needed.
  7. Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Storage:

  • Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze: You can freeze caramelized onions in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before using.
