Healthy Nut & Honey Krackle

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup pistachios
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nuts and Seeds: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place Flexiflat on the Perforated Baking Sheet. Spread the pecans, pumpkin seeds, pistachios, cashews, and walnuts on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant. Let them cool slightly.
  2. Make the Honey Mixture: Combine the honey and vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Combine and Coat: Combine the toasted nuts and seeds in a large mixing bowl. Pour the honey mixture over the nuts and seeds, stirring to coat them evenly.
  4. Set the Bars: Place nut mixture on Flexiflat with a BONMAT over the nuts press to even out all over the pan. Pour the nut and honey mixture into the dish, pressing it firmly to create an even layer. Let it cool completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for faster setting.
  5. Cut and Serve: Once the mixture is set, lift it out of the baking dish using the parchment paper. Cut into bars of your desired size and enjoy!
