Tomato Basil Egg Cups

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup shredded gruyere cheese
  • 6 to 12 basil leaves
  • 6 grape tomatoes cut in half, lengthwise

French Pantry:

  • 1 tablespoon Roasted garlic and Chive Herb Blend
  • Sel Gris Salt
  • Tellicherry Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and place the oven rack in the center position. Place the 6 Round Trays on the Perforated baking Sheet.
  2. Place an egg in each shape. Add one tablespoon of gruyere cheese, basil leaves, and tomato to each, sprinkle with Roasted Garlic and Chive Herb Blend, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until the eggs are thoroughly cooked to your preference.

BONTIP:  We love to make these egg cups for breakfast on Sunday and freeze the leftovers in a freezer-safe container or wrap them for a quick personal breakfast on the run.
