Ingredients

  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup diced apple
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
  3. In another, whisk applesauce, oil, eggs, and sugar.
  4. Combine wet and dry, fold in apples and walnuts.
  5. Pour into loaf mold and bake 50–55 minutes.
